Role Overview:

As a Senior Analyst - Client Managed Services - Rebase Services, you will focus on developing and implementing software solutions to support Calypso version upgrades for clients. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Mumbai/Pune and with Nasdaq teams worldwide, working directly with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients during Calypso version upgrades.
  • Work directly with customers to define the scope of automated regression tests based on client footprints, covering cross-asset, front-to-back, and various modules.
  • Build or customize suites of test scripts using the internal CATT tool.
  • Execute automated test scripts to perform regression testing.
  • Communicate test results, analyze detected issues, address configuration changes directly, or raise appropriate ServiceNow tickets.
  • Collaborate with SaaS Operations, Customer Support, Project Management, and Engineering teams to ensure quick resolution of issues logged in ServiceNow.
  • Provide regular updates to management, maintaining detailed tracking of all open issues, e.g., via JIRA.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years working on IT projects within the capital markets industry.
  • At least 2 years of Calypso implementation or upgrade experience from both a technical and functional perspective.
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work hands-on with customers and various Calypso departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in test automation is advantageous.
  • CFA, IMC, CISI, or other postgraduate finance certifications.
  • Familiarity with other applications such as Murex, Finastra (Summit, Kondor+), Aladdin, or SimCorp.
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg Terminal and market data sources like Bloomberg SAPI or Data License.
  • Understanding of third-party systems, e.g., MarkIt, Omgeo, SWIFT, Acadiasoft.
  • Knowledge of regulations impacting investment banks and asset managers.
  • Advanced skills in Excel.

Through a suite of automated regression tests, the team ensures seamless version upgrades by detecting, analyzing, and resolving any reconciliation breaks.
